Dear Eagle Families,

Welcome back to Ebinport! I hope your summer was filled with rest, joy, and meaningful time together. As we begin this new school year, I want to extend a warm welcome to both our returning Eagles and the new families joining our Ebinport community.

This is my second year as principal at Ebinport, and I could not be more proud to lead such an incredible school. Our dedicated staff, supportive families, and talented students make Ebinport a special place where learning, growth, and leadership take flight each day.

This year brings exciting updates, new opportunities, and continued growth across our school:

  • We have adopted a new math curriculum—iReady Math—designed to deepen students' understanding of grade-level standards through daily math discourse.

  • The iReady Diagnostic will guide us in tailoring learning to each student’s specific needs.

  • As a Year 2 Leader in Me school, we are focused on teaching the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and living the paradigm that everyone at Ebinport is a leader.

  • We are excited to welcome new staff members into numerous roles across our campus.

  • Our teachers are engaging in “teacher clarity” professional development to increase instructional rigor and push student achievement to even greater heights.

  • We are implementing SOAR Time daily to ensure every student receives instruction that meets their individual needs.

  • We are expanding our special education inclusive practices to support all learners across our school.

  • Our PTO is exploring new ideas and options for both fundraising and family engagement to strengthen the home–school connection.
     

At Ebinport, we believe in strong community partnerships, as students loved by their community grow into adults who love their community back. We are blessed to be supported by so many local churches, organizations, businesses, and individuals who provide school supplies, sponsor events, contribute gifts and incentives, and show appreciation for our staff and students. Their generosity helps us create an environment where every child feels valued and supported.

I look forward to partnering with you as we continue building a culture of excellence and ensuring every student has the opportunity to soar beyond limits. Thank you for trusting us with your children as it is truly an honor to serve as your principal.
